Caramel Apple Dump Cake

Certainly! Here’s a recipe for Caramel Apple Dump Cake:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the dry cake mix and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the apple pie filling.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering it as evenly as possible.
  5. If using chopped pecans, sprinkle them over the top of the cake.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce over the warm cake before serving.
  9. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
