Baked Crack Chicken

Baked Crack Chicken is a popular dish known for its flavorful combination of chicken, bacon, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning. Here’s a simple recipe for you to try:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season them with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the bacon layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. If you prefer a golden-brown top, you can broil the dish for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  9. Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
