Bacon Cheddar Ranch Cheese Ball

Posted on December 6, 2024

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for a Bacon Cheddar Ranch Cheese Ball:

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon (crisp and chopped)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Bacon: Cook the bacon until crispy. Once done, drain it on paper towels and chop it into small bits.
  2. Mix the Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and Worcestershire sauce (if using). Stir until the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Add Bacon and Green Onions: Fold in the chopped bacon and green onions (if you’re using them). Make sure everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Shape into a Ball: Using your hands, shape the cheese mixture into a ball. If the mixture is too sticky, you can chill it in the fridge for about 20 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  5. Coat the Cheese Ball: Roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans or walnuts for a crunchy outer layer, if desired.
  6. Chill: Place the cheese ball in the fridge for at least 1 hour to set, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  7. Serve: Serve with crackers, veggies, or even sliced bread.

Enjoy your Bacon Cheddar Ranch Cheese Ball as a perfect appetizer for any party or gathering!
