Air Fryer Maple Glazed Ham

Posted on March 25, 2024 by admin

Air fryer maple glazed ham is a delightful dish that combines the succulence of ham with the sweetness of maple syrup, all cooked to perfection in an air fryer. Here’s a simple recipe to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-cooked ham (bone-in or boneless, whichever you prefer)
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ham:
    • If your ham is not pre-sliced, score the surface in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut too deep.
    • Place the ham in the air fryer basket or on the air fryer tray.
  2. Make the Glaze:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Glaze the Ham:
    • Brush the glaze generously over the surface of the ham, making sure to coat it evenly.
  4. Air Fry:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
    • Place the glazed ham in the air fryer basket or on the air fryer tray.
    • Cook for 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of your ham, until the glaze is caramelized and the ham is heated through.
  5. Baste (Optional):
    • If desired, halfway through cooking, open the air fryer and baste the ham with any remaining glaze for extra flavor.
  6. Serve:
    • Once the ham is cooked to your liking, carefully remove it from the air fryer.
    • Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  7. Garnish (Optional):
    • You can garnish the ham with fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary for added aroma and presentation.
  8. Enjoy:
    • Serve your air fryer maple glazed ham warm alongside your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or dinner rolls.

This recipe yields a juicy, flavorful ham with a delicious maple glaze that’s perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a holiday gathering or a special family dinner.
