Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for air-fryer Brussels sprouts:

Air-Fryer Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese, balsamic glaze, or lemon zest for serving

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
    • Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water.
    • Trim the ends and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves.
    • Cut the Brussels sprouts in half, especially if they are large.
  2. Season the Brussels Sprouts:
    • In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  4. Air Fry the Brussels Sprouts:
    • Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You might need to cook them in batches if your air fryer is small.
    • Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
    • The Brussels sprouts should be crispy and golden brown on the edges.
  5. Serve:
    • Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish.
    • Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, drizzle with balsamic glaze, or add some lemon zest for extra flavor.

Tips:

  • For extra crispiness, make sure the Brussels sprouts are well-coated with oil but not dripping.
  • If you prefer them softer, cook for a shorter time or at a lower temperature.
