Honey Glazed Walnuts

Posted on September 17, 2023

Honey glazed walnuts are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or topping that combines the natural sweetness of honey with the crunchiness of walnuts. Here’s a simple recipe to make honey glazed walnuts:

Ingredients:

1 cup of walnut halves 2 tablespoons of honey 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter A pinch of salt Optional: a dash of cinnamon or other spices for flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the honey and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine. If you’d like to add a dash of cinnamon or other spices for extra flavor, now is the time to do so.
  3. Place the walnut halves in a mixing bowl and pour the honey and butter mixture over them. Gently toss the walnuts to ensure they are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated walnuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake the walnuts in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Be sure to keep an eye on them as they can burn quickly.
  6. Remove the honey glazed walnuts from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet. As they cool, the honey glaze will harden, giving the walnuts a sweet and crispy coating.
  7. Once the honey glazed walnuts have cooled, you can break them apart and enjoy them as a snack, or use them as a topping for salads, yogurt, oatmeal, or desserts.

These honey glazed walnuts make for a delightful combination of sweet and nutty flavors and can be a great addition to a variety of dishes or simply enjoyed on their own as a tasty snack.
