Cajun Corn On The Cob Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 ears of fresh corn, husked
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Corn:
    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F).
    • If you’re using an oven, preheat it to 400°F.
  2. Make the Cajun Butter:
    • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Season the Corn:
    • Brush each ear of corn generously with the Cajun butter mixture, making sure to coat all sides.
  4. Grill the Corn:
    • Place the seasoned corn directly on the grill grates. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes to ensure even cooking and char marks. The corn is ready when it’s tender and has a slight char.

    Alternative Oven Method:

    • Place the seasoned corn on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time.
  5. Serve:
    • Once cooked, remove the corn from the grill or oven. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
    • Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zesty kick.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, you can add a dash of hot sauce or a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
  • If you prefer a spicier kick, increase the amount of Cajun seasoning or add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Cajun butter mixture.

Enjoy your delicious Cajun Corn On The Cob!
