homemade pizza sticks

Here’s a simple recipe for homemade pizza sticks:

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • Optional toppings: pepperoni, sliced bell peppers, sliced mushrooms, etc.
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet, stretching it into a rectangle shape.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. If desired, add any additional toppings like pepperoni, bell peppers, or mushrooms.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture over the cheese and toppings.
  6. Carefully roll up the pizza dough lengthwise, like a jelly roll, to create a long log.
  7. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 1-inch-wide pieces, creating pizza sticks.
  8. Place the pizza sticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.
  9. Lightly brush the tops of the pizza sticks with olive oil.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the pizza sticks are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
