BANANA PUDDING BROWNIES

Banana pudding brownies are a delightful twist on the classic brownie recipe, incorporating the flavors of banana pudding into a rich and decadent dessert. Here’s a simple recipe you can try:

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box, typically eggs, oil, and water)
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)
  • Sliced bananas for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the brownie mix: Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the brownie mix box. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Prepare the brownie batter according to the instructions on the box. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  2. Bake the brownies: Bake the brownies in the preheated oven according to the instructions on the box, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  3. Prepare the banana pudding layer: In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let it sit for a few minutes to thicken. Once the pudding has set, fold in half of the whipped topping until well combined.
  4. Assemble the brownies: Once the brownies have cooled completely, spread the mashed bananas evenly over the top of the brownies. Then spread the banana pudding mixture over the mashed bananas.
  5. Top with whipped topping: Spread the remaining whipped topping over the banana pudding layer, creating a smooth and even top.
  6. Garnish (optional): If desired, garnish the top of the brownies with sliced bananas for an extra touch of banana flavor and decoration.
  7. Chill and serve: Place the assembled brownies in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1-2 hours before serving. This will allow the layers to set and the flavors to meld together. Slice into squares and serve chilled. Enjoy your delicious banana pudding brownies!
