One Pan Balsamic Chicken

Posted on March 4, 2024 by admin

One Pan Balsamic Chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines tender chicken with a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze. Here’s a simple recipe to try:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the balsamic vinegar and honey, and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to come to a simmer.
  6. Add dried oregano, basil, and thyme to the skillet, stirring to incorporate.
  7. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some of the balsamic glaze over the top.
  8. Continue to cook the chicken in the glaze for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  9. Once the chicken is thoroughly coated and the glaze has thickened slightly, remove from heat.
  10. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.

This One Pan Balsamic Chicken pairs well with a variety of sides such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple green salad. Enjoy your delicious meal!
