Posted on February 29, 2024March 23, 2024 by admin

Here’s a simple recipe for spicy chicken livers with mushrooms:

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken livers, cleaned and trimmed
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust according to your spice preference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they begin to brown, stirring occasionally, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Push the mushrooms to the side of the skillet and add the cleaned chicken livers to the pan. Cook the chicken livers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are browned on the outside but still slightly pink on the inside.
  5. Sprinkle paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper over the chicken livers and mushrooms. Stir everything together to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
  6. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the chicken livers are cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  7. Once cooked, remove the skillet from the heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
  8. Serve the spicy chicken livers with mushrooms hot, either on their own or with your choice of side dish, such as rice or crusty bread.

Enjoy your delicious and spicy chicken livers with mushrooms!
