Posted on February 29, 2024 by admin

Certainly! Here’s a recipe for gluten-free sausage balls:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound gluten-free sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 2 cups gluten-free baking mix (such as a blend of rice flour, tapioca starch, and potato starch)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes for added heat
  • Optional: Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free baking mix, shredded cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, dried parsley, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix well to combine.
  3. Add the gluten-free sausage to the dry ingredients. Using your hands, mix until everything is well combined and the sausage is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
  7. If desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
  8. Enjoy your delicious gluten-free sausage balls!

These sausage balls make a great appetizer or snack, and they’re perfect for parties or gatherings.
