Bacon Cheeseburger Wraps

Bacon cheeseburger wraps are a delicious and convenient twist on the classic bacon cheeseburger. Here’s a simple recipe to make them at home:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6-8 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce

Instructions:

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it’s browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Drain any excess grease from the skillet, then add the diced onions to the cooked ground beef. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the onions are softened.
  3. Lay out the flour tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the cooked ground beef mixture evenly among the tortillas, spreading it out in the center.
  4. Crumble the cooked bacon slices and distribute them evenly over the ground beef on each tortilla.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the bacon and ground beef mixture on each tortilla.
  6. Add diced tomatoes, diced pickles, and shredded lettuce evenly over the cheese layer.
  7. If desired, drizzle your favorite condiments such as ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or barbecue sauce over the toppings.
  8. Roll up each tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go, to form a wrap.
  9. Optional: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  10. Serve the bacon cheeseburger wraps immediately, whole or sliced in half, with additional condiments or your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
