BAKED CHICKEN TENDERS⁠

Baked chicken tenders are a delicious and healthier alternative to fried chicken tenders. Here’s a simple recipe to make them:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (you can use seasoned breadcrumbs or add your own seasonings)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken tender into the beaten eggs, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure to press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.
  5. Place the coated chicken tenders onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each piece.
  6. Bake the chicken tenders in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (75°C).
  7. Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve the baked chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce, such as barbecue sauce, ranch dressing, or honey mustard.
