Posted on February 4, 2024 by admin

Certainly! Baked crabmeat casserole is a delicious dish that combines the savory flavors of crabmeat with creamy and cheesy elements. Here’s a simple recipe for you:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound crabmeat (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter, for greasing the baking dish
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crabmeat, mayonnaise, sour cream, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, green onions, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. If you’d like a crunchy topping, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the crab mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
  6. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve the baked crabmeat casserole as a delicious appetizer or main dish. You can accompany it with crusty bread, crackers, or a side salad. Enjoy!
