Posted on January 18, 2024January 8, 2025 by admin

Loaded steak quesadillas are a delicious and satisfying dish that combines the flavors of seasoned steak, melted cheese, and various toppings. Here’s a basic recipe to help you make loaded steak quesadillas:

Ingredients:

  1. Flour Tortillas: Choose large-sized tortillas for easier folding.
  2. Steak: Use thinly sliced and cooked steak. You can marinate it with your favorite spices beforehand.
  3. Cheese: A blend of Mexican cheeses like cheddar, Monterey Jack, and queso fresco works well.
  4. Vegetables: Options include diced bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
  5. Salsa: Choose your favorite salsa for added flavor.
  6. Sour Cream: Adds a cool and creamy element to balance the heat.
  7. Guacamole: Avocado-based guacamole can add a rich and creamy texture.
  8. Cilantro: Fresh cilantro adds a burst of freshness.

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Steak: Season the steak with your favorite spices and cook it in a pan until it’s done to your liking. Once cooked, thinly slice it.
  2. Prepare the Vegetables: Dice the bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
  3. Assemble the Quesadillas:
    • Place a tortilla on a flat surface.
    • Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese on one half of the tortilla.
    • Add a portion of sliced steak on top of the cheese.
    • Spread a handful of diced vegetables over the steak.
    • Drizzle salsa over the vegetables.
    • Add another layer of cheese on top.
    • Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling.
  4. Cook the Quesadillas:
    • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
    • Place the assembled quesadilla on the hot surface and cook until the cheese is melted, and the tortilla is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side.
  5. Serve:
    • Remove the quesadilla from the heat and let it cool for a minute.
    • Cut the quesadilla into wedges.
    • Serve with a dollop of sour cream, guacamole, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.

Feel free to customize the recipe based on your preferences. You can add jalapeƱos for extra heat or include other toppings like black beans or corn. Enjoy your loaded steak quesadillas!
