Low-Carb Cheesy Onion Ring Chips

Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced into rings
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • Cooking spray (olive oil or coconut oil)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Onion Rings: Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings. Separate the rings and set them aside.
  3. Prepare Coating Mixture: In a shallow bowl, combine almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  4. Coat the Onion Rings: Dip each onion ring into the almond flour mixture, ensuring it’s coated on both sides. Shake off any excess coating.
  5. Dip in Egg Mixture: In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Dip each coated onion ring into the beaten eggs, making sure it’s evenly coated.
