🧄 Homemade Garlic Spread for Breads
Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

6–8 cloves garlic, minced or grated

2 tbsp olive oil (optional, adds richness)

1½ tsp dried parsley (or 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped)

1 tsp garlic powder (for extra depth)

½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper

Optional: ¼ cup grated Parmesan or mozzarella (for cheesy version)
Instructions:

Sauté Garlic (Optional for mellow flavor):
In a small pan, heat olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Let cool slightly. -
Mix the Spread:
In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, sautéed garlic (or raw if preferred), garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Add cheese if using. Mix until smooth and fluffy. -
Chill or Use Immediately:

For spreading immediately, keep it soft at room temperature.

For later use, transfer to a container or wrap in parchment and refrigerate. Lasts 1–2 weeks chilled, or freeze up to 3 months.
