2 tsp vanilla extract
-
2¾ cups (345g) all-purpose flour
-
1 tsp baking soda
-
½ tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
-
20–24 soft caramel candies (unwrapped)
-
Flaky sea salt, for topping

In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.

Scoop dough (about 2 tablespoons) and flatten slightly. Place a caramel candy in the center and fold the dough around it, sealing well.
-
Place on baking sheet, leaving space between each. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top.
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers are still soft.
-
Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
