📝 Ingredients

For the Cajun Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced thin or pounded)

  • 1½ tbsp Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

  • Optional: squeeze of lemon for garnish

For the Creamy Parmesan Linguine:

  • 8 oz linguine (or fettuccine)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt to taste

  • Chopped parsley or green onion (for garnish)


🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Boil linguine in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

  2. Season and Cook Chicken:

    • Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

    • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.

  3. Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:

    • In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

    • Lower heat and stir in heavy cream. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.

    • Add Parmesan cheese gradually, whisking until melted and smooth.

    • Stir in black pepper and red pepper flakes. Adjust salt to taste.

    • Add cooked pasta and toss to coat. If needed, loosen with a splash of pasta water.

  4. Assemble & Serve:

    • Slice the cooked Cajun chicken and place over creamy linguine.

    • Garnish with chopped parsley, green onions, or a squeeze of lemon juice.

    • Serve hot and enjoy!
