Fresh Peach Fritters

Posted on June 15, 2025

Here’s a delicious Fresh Peach Fritters recipe — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with juicy peach chunks:

🍑 Fresh Peach Fritters

Ingredients:

For the fritters:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 2/3 cup whole milk

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced

  • Vegetable oil, for frying

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 2–3 tbsp milk

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil:
In a deep skillet or pot, heat 2–3 inches of oil to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Make batter:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until just combined. Gently fold in diced peaches.

  3. Fry fritters:
Drop heaping tablespoons of batter into the hot oil. Fry 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Don’t overcrowd the pan.

  4. Drain:
Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined tray to drain.

  5. Glaze:
Mix powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth. Dip or drizzle the glaze over slightly cooled fritters.

🍽 Serve warm and enjoy!

Let me know if you want a baked version or a cinnamon-sugar coating instead!
