  • 3–4 large sweet onions (Vidalia preferred)

  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Optional: Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Slice the onions into thick rounds (about ÂĽ inch thick) and separate into rings.

  3. Layer the onion slices in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
