Here’s a delicious and easy Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole recipe — creamy, crunchy, and perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner:

Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed (rotisserie chicken works great)

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, but recommended)

  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (about 30 crackers), crushed

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Chopped parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Stir until the crackers are evenly coated.

  5. Sprinkle the cracker topping evenly over the chicken mixture.

  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.

  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve with steamed vegetables, a fresh green salad, or over rice.

  • Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
