🍯 Honey Pepper Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halved horizontally to make 4 cutlets)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (for a light coating)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for frying)

Honey Pepper Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper (adjust to taste)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Instructions:

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  2. Lightly coat in cornstarch.

  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 3–4 mins per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  4. In the same pan, reduce heat to medium and add garlic. Sauté 30 seconds.

  5. Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir and simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  6. Return chicken to pan and coat with sauce.


🧄 Creamy Garlic Butter Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: chopped parsley or fresh basil for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (1 minute).

  3. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

  4. Add Parmesan, stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Toss drained pasta into the sauce. Add pasta water as needed to loosen.

  6. Serve immediately with honey pepper chicken on top or on the side.

Top with extra cracked black pepper, a sprinkle of fresh herbs, and maybe a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
