Here’s a flavorful and comforting Chicken Bacon Crunch Casserole recipe that’s sure to be a hit at the dinner table. It’s creamy, cheesy, and topped with a crispy, crunchy finish.


🍗 Chicken Bacon Crunch Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped (rotisserie chicken works great)

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • 1 cup frozen peas or mixed veggies (optional)

  • 1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz) or cornflakes

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix the base: In a large bowl, combine the chicken, crumbled bacon (reserve a little for topping), cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and optional paprika and veggies.

  3. Transfer to a baking dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  4. Prepare the topping: In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers or cornflakes with melted butter.

  5. Add topping: Sprinkle the topping evenly over the casserole, then add extra cheese and reserved bacon if desired.

  6. Bake: Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.

  7. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving if you like.
