Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Posted on May 6, 2025 by admin

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Parmesan Baked Potatoes — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with cheesy flavor.

Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes

  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated works best)

  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare the potatoes:

    • Wash and scrub the potatoes well (peel if desired).

    • Cut each potato in half lengthwise.

  3. Mix coating:

    • In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  4. Coat the baking surface:

    • Drizzle olive oil or melted butter evenly over the bottom of the baking dish.

    • Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture evenly over the oiled surface.

  5. Place potatoes cut-side down onto the cheese mixture, pressing them gently to ensure contact.

  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the bottoms are golden brown and crispy.

  7. Cool slightly, then use a spatula to gently lift the potatoes off the baking sheet. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Serving Ideas:

  • Great as a side dish for grilled meats, burgers, or roasted vegetables.

  • Serve with sour cream or a garlic aioli for dipping.
