Delicious Mediterranean Steak Bowls

Here’s a flavorful recipe for Delicious Mediterranean Steak Bowls, packed with vibrant veggies, tender steak, and a zesty sauce. Great for meal prep or a healthy dinner.


🥩 Mediterranean Steak Bowls Recipe

Ingredients:

For the steak:

  • 1 lb flank or sirloin steak

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

For the bowl base:

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa or brown rice

  • 1 cup chopped cucumber

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1/3 cup kalamata olives, sliced

  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Optional add-ins:

  • Hummus or tzatziki

  • Roasted chickpeas

  • Avocado slices

  • Pickled red onions

Lemon Garlic Dressing:

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp oregano

  • Salt & pepper to taste


🔥 Instructions:

  1. Marinate the steak:
    Mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Coat steak and marinate for 20–30 minutes.

  2. Cook the steak:
    Grill or pan-sear over medium-high heat for 3–5 minutes per side (depending on thickness). Rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

  3. Prepare the dressing:
    Whisk all dressing ingredients together in a bowl or jar.

  4. Assemble the bowls:
    In each bowl, layer quinoa/rice, vegetables, feta, olives, and steak. Drizzle with dressing.

  5. Top and serve:
    Add optional toppings like hummus or tzatziki. Serve warm or chilled.
