Here’s a simple and refreshing recipe for a Banana Lemon Ginger Smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger (peeled)

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for sweetness)

  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or non-dairy yogurt for a vegan option)

  • 1/2 cup water or coconut water (for extra hydration)

  • Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Peel the banana and ginger. Juice the lemon.

  2. Blend: Add the banana, ginger, lemon juice, Greek yogurt, honey, and water (or coconut water) into a blender.

  3. Blend until smooth: Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until everything is well combined and smooth. Add ice cubes if you want it extra cold and blend again.

  4. Taste and adjust: Taste the smoothie and add more honey or lemon juice if needed.

  5. Serve: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
