Here’s a simple no-churn ice cream recipe that doesn’t require an ice cream maker!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or any flavor you prefer)
Optional mix-ins:
- Chocolate chips, fruit, crushed cookies, or swirl in your favorite syrup!
Instructions:
-
Whip the Cream: In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream with a hand mixer (or stand mixer) until stiff peaks form (about 3–4 minutes).
-
Combine: In another bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
-
Fold Together: Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much.
-
Add Mix-ins: If you’re adding chocolate chips, fruit, or other mix-ins, fold them in gently.
-
Freeze: Pour the mixture into a loaf pan or any freezer-safe container, and smooth the top. Cover with plastic wrap or a lid.
-
Freeze for 6+ hours: Let it freeze for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, until firm.
Enjoy your homemade ice cream! You can get creative by adding flavors like chocolate or crushed cookies before freezing.
